After 19 wonderful years of marketing and managing holiday properties for owners across the Vendée, I have decided that it's time for a change.
I have now retired from providing holiday rental marketing and property management services for other owners, and will be concentrating on something a little closer to home – our own two holiday cottages at Maison Lairoux.

It has been a real pleasure working with so many property owners over the years, and helping guests from the UK and beyond discover this beautiful part of France. I'd like to thank everyone who has supported Vendée Holiday Cottages, whether as a property owner, a guest or a regular visitor to our website.

A New Focus – Maison Lairoux Holiday Cottages

Although Vendée Holiday Cottages will no longer be advertising or managing other owners' properties, we will continue to welcome guests to our own two holiday cottages here in Lairoux, in the heart of the southern Vendée.

Our properties, Le Vieux Café and L'Ecurie, offer comfortable, family-friendly accommodation in a peaceful countryside setting, with a shared heated swimming pool, gardens and plenty of space to relax.
We're ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Vendée, with its miles of sandy beaches, charming villages, local markets, cycling routes and attractions such as the Marais Poitevin, O'Gliss Water Park and Puy du Fou.
Whether you're planning a family holiday, a relaxing break with friends or simply looking to enjoy a little French sunshine, we'd love to welcome you.

What Happens to Vendée Holiday Cottages?

The Vendée Holiday Cottages website will remain online for the foreseeable future, but will gradually be updated to reflect our new direction.
We will be removing the properties belonging to other owners, along with our holiday rental marketing and management services. The website will continue to provide useful information about the Vendée and will introduce visitors to our own accommodation at Maison Lairoux.
